About Our Chef

Award winning Chef Robert Roberge invites you to experience an unforgettable dinning experience with his exciting and inspired new menu creations.

Chef Roberge joined the Holiday Inn Select Oakville in November 2005. His experience in the culinary field has ranged from the Oshawa Golf Club where he gained a great deal of experience and inspiration to continue learning and improving his skills. In 1994 he accepted a position as the saucier and tournant at the PineStone Resort and Conference Centre, and later became Executive Chef for an outdoor education centre in Minden ON. Recently he has become involved in the Escoffier Societies competitions and has enjoyed these events and the opportunity it provides to learn new skills and new personal challenges. In 2005 Chef Roberge enjoyed gold medal success along with Culinary Team Ontario in Erfurt Germany. Chef Roberge also participated as a support member for Culinary Team Canada at the World Culinary Olympics.
